Columbus to be test market for cousins of McDonald’s Big Mac
Today fast food chain McDonald’s unveiled two variations on the Big Mac to be tested in Columbus: the Grand Mac and the Mac Jr.
The ingredients remain the same, but the 1-patty Mac Jr. is small enough to be eaten on the go, while 1/3 pound Grand Mac is designed for those of us with “elevated appetites.”
Expect to see the new items not only on menus, but also on the television screen, where ads will run through June 6.
Columbus has been used as a test market for McDonald’s in the past, most recently for the restaurant’s solution to chicken and waffles: the Chicken McGriddle.
