The failed Buckeye Hall of Fame Grill at Grandview Yard has been replaced by another OSU-themed restaurant with the hopes of turning the university’s rabid fandom into hungry customers.
Eddie George’s Grille 27, named after the legendary Ohio State running back, is opening today after moving from its former location at 1636 N. High Street near campus.
The old space of the Hall of Fame Grill has been extensively remodeled, and while there is still some OSU memorabilia scattered throughout the establishment, it’s not as prominently displayed as it was before.
Seating 400 diners, the new restaurant is even bigger than the location’s previous tenant.
