Habanero Fresh Opens in Hilliard with Huge Menu

Habaneros Fresh Mexican Grill has replaced the VIP Lounge at 3650 Main St. in Hilliard.

It offers pretty reasonably priced Mexican street food. I’m not sure I’m one to make the call on whether Columbus needs more Mexican food but I’m not complaining.

Their menu is impressive in both its ease to understand the scope of their offerings. I’ve never actually seen the option for “Wet Style” on a Mexican restaurant before it is super intriguing and hey, maybe a little alarming? We’re not sure.

They also have the greatest food item in the history of the universe — Choriqueso which is exactly what it sounds like. Chorizo in queso sauce, it’s perfect. That’s all you need to know.
