High-end Taco Bell might sound like an oxymoron, but the fast food chain doesn’t seem to care.
The restaurant has a new “Taco Bell Cantina” concept, where the restaurants are uniquely tailored to the spaces they’re in, the kitchens are open, food is served on plates instead of trays, and menus are buffed up with new items.
While renderings of the Columbus concept haven’t been released, the restaurant is set to occupy the ground floor of a planned student housing development located at High Street and 9th Avenue.
Shockingly, the new restaurant won’t even have a drive-thru.
“Cantinas” are already in Chicago and San Fransisco, and ten more are planned across the country.
