Mystery brewpub with rooftop patio bar coming to Italian Village
The high profile intersection of Fourth Street and Fifth Avenue in Italian Village is currently a blank canvas for developers–but not for long.
Arch City Development is set to raise an almost 3,000 square foot brewpub at the southwest corner of the intersection that will be home to a yet-unnamed, but well-known Columbus-based brewery.
“It’s someone that’s been operating in Columbus for awhile. Everybody knows who they are,” said principal developer Brian Higgins.
Higgins said he’s excited, but until things are formalized, he wants to keep the specifics “discreet.”
The main selling points of the new bar are its location near other popular brewpubs like Seventh Son Brewing Co. and Hoof Hearted Brewpub and Kitchen; a view of the lights from Mapfre Stadium and a comfortable walking distance to Ohio Stadium; and a planned rooftop patio bar.
In addition to the new brewpub, Arch City Development will also be building eight new houses for sale.
