New Bar Alert! Watershed Distillery Announces Badass New Brewpub
Watershed Distillery announced they will be the first distillery in Ohio to open a craft cocktail bar and kitchen operating with an A-1-a permit. Watershed’s current expansion was made possible by a recent change in legislation that makes it legal for craft distillers like Watershed Distillery to obtain these brewpub licenses – previously reserved for the craft beer and wine industry.
Watershed Kitchen & Bar will be a seventy seat full service restaurant, craft cocktail bar and fifty-person private event space located on-site at the Chesapeake Ave. distilling facility.
In addition to the weekly distillery tours currently offered, guests will now be able to observe distillation activities while they dine. The restaurant will have a full bar, thirty seat patio, nightly dinner service as well as a private event space looking into the bourbon barrel room.
Watershed Kitchen & Bar is expected to open by February 1, 2017, and is looking forward to hosting private events in the new event space as early as December 2016. “So far we are on track to meet our first quarter goal, but as we are discovering,” jokes Rigo, “delays are the only certainty when opening a restaurant, and we will not open the doors until everything is just right.”
Watershed is currently seeking kitchen staff, bartenders, servers and hostesses.
