New donut shop touts over-the-top creations
Opening bright and early at 5 a.m. Monday morning, Columbus’ newest donut shop was already serving up creative takes on the classic sweet treat.
Whether you’re looking for banana fudge, Andes mint, maple bacon, or desert military camo, Amy’s Donuts, located at 650 Georgeville Road on the West Side, has you covered.
There are innumerable donuts for the adventurous taster, but also old-fashioned selections for the fans of the tried-and-true cruller or glazed round.
Amy’s newest creation is their take on the Buckeye donut, which features blended cherry frosting with chocolate fudge and vanilla.
