New German Village Daily Growler to feature burritos and beer
With the rise of craft beer, The Daily Growler has risen with it.
The Columbus-based retailer announced yesterday that it would be opening a new location in German Village at 702 S High Street near the Scioto Audubon park.
Specializing in growlers, the half gallon (64 oz.) glass jugs designed to seal in the freshness and carbonation of craft brews, the new shop will be the third for The Daily Growler.
Plus, the new location will be partnered with Athens-based restaurant Big Mamma’s Burritos, known for its reputation as a late-night destination for creative twists on Mexican classics.
“Beer and burritos are the bedrocks of American society,” Big Mamma’s owner Quinn Schaller said in a press release. “We are excited at the chance to reach a new audience by partnering with The Daily Growler.”
Expect to see the new shop pop up in early Fall of this year.
