Stave off the crave: Short North White Castle temporarily closes

There’s something special about White Castle that just can’t be replicated anywhere else, and sadly, Short North residents will have to start making pilgrimages across town to satisfy their cravings.

Starting Saturday July 23, the Short North White Castle at 965 North High Street will be closing its doors for over a year while construction crews raise a six-to-eight story mixed-used development in its place.

Fortunately, there will be a White Castle on the ground floor of the new building, according to plans.
