The GastroPub at Pigskin Brewing Company slated for opening day this Friday

Come this Friday, Gahanna residents will have a new restaurant to kick back, watch some sports, and enjoy a craft beer.

The GastroPub at Pigskin Brewing Company, located at 81 Mill Street, is having its grand opening this Friday Feb. 19, with a menu that provides twists on classic pub fare designed to be paired with beer brewed on-site.

From the beer-battered appetizers to the “flat iron” marinated flank steak with goat cheese, the menu focuses on rich, savory flavors, with most appetizers and salads priced at $5 to $10, and most entrees, sandwiches, and flatbreads hovering around $12 to $15.

To celebrate the opening on Friday, the restaurant is offering free “warm up” appetizers, ranging from roasted cashews to “5-star” beer cheese soup made with the Pigskin IPA.
