In this, his first full week on the job, new Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther has already made history. On Tuesday, he announced Stephen Francis as the city’s first-ever Chief Diversity Officer.
Ginther and Francis say that the responsibility of the job is to promote the value of inclusivity in the city.
Francis currently works for Honda where he holds a similar post. He’ll assume his new position with the city next month.
