Sanders, Clinton to speak at Columbus dinner before Ohio primaries
It was announced today that Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be speaking in Columbus two days prior to Ohio’s March 15 primary elections.
The event is the Ohio Democratic Party Legacy Dinner, taking place at the Columbus Convention Center.
Ticket range from $50 to bleacher seats to $5,000 for VIP treatment.
Ohio is expected to be a battleground state in the 2016 election, given its history as a swing state, and the fact that Ohio has voted with the winning candidate in 90% of U.S. presidential elections.
