Steve LaTourette, Former Ohio Congressman, Passes Away at age 62

United States Representative Steve LaTourette passed away Wednesday night after a two year battle with cancer. He was 62 years old.
LaTourette represented Ohio’s 19th Congressional District and after represented the 14th Congressional District from 1995 to 2013.
He was a Republican with a moderate’s reputation. Prior to his election to Congress, LaTourette served as the Lake County Prosecutor during 1989 to 1995.
LaTourette retired due to his dislike over partisanship; in 2012 he was diagnosed with pancreatitis which after two years without treatment became cancerous.
LaTourette leaves behind his wife, Jennifer and six children.
