A Dozen Shots Fired at Car in West Columbus

Three people escaped without injury after an unknown assailant opened fire behind a home on the 2200 block of Sullivant Avenue.

According to the CPD, J’Kuan Wells, 24, Shania Thomas, 19, and Mah’Lom Ransom, 22, were near the car at a relative’s house when the shooting started.

There are reports of over 20 shots being fired. The car nearby was struck three times but no one was injured.

Police swarmed the area, guns drawn shortly after the shooting. No suspects have been identified.
