BREAKING: 2 shot near OSU campus in critical condition
Two people were shot this afternoon in a home invasion that sent both to the Wexner Medical Center in critical, but stable condition.
Police confirmed that the two who were shot are not students.
The shooting occurred on W Northwood Ave. just north of campus.
An Ohio State emergency alert was issued urging students to “shelter in place/be observant/take action as needed.” The alert has since been lifted, but OSU students were still advised to “be observant.”
The suspect is described as a 6’0″ black male with dreadlocks wearing black clothing and black glasses who fled on foot after the shooting.
If you spot him call 911. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
