The Ohio State University Police Department released a preliminary report on Thursday that details the attack on the Wexner Center that occurred back in November.
Dean D. Sturgis, a 63-year-old former security guard at the museum, defaced more than 30 pieces of art by spray painting or shooting them on November 29. He threatened guards with a revolver and commanded them to follow him as he vandalized the art before taking his own life with a gunshot to the head. The Wexner Center reopened less than a week later.
The names of the paintings that were defaced have not been released.
Ohio State University spokesman Chris Davey said that a more detailed report is forthcoming
