The Ohio State Highway Patrol seized a massive load of heroin and cocaine in a traffic stop near Akron on I-76.
Valued at over $600,000, over a dozen pounds of heroin and half a pound of cocaine were taken from a 2016 Lincoln Navigator after it was pulled over for speeding.
Police said “criminal indicators” led to a search by drug-sniffing dogs, which found the drugs.
Roberto Campas, of Canton, Ohio, and Ernesto Medina, 32, of Bell, California, were charged with possession of heroin and cocaine, and aggravated trafficking in drugs.
Both suspects could face up to 30 years in prison and a $60,000 fine if convicted.
