$80M renovation on Port Columbus terminal completed
Frequent flyers and casual travelers alike will notice that the veneer of caution tape and construction equipment at Port Columbus has been replaced with new paint, huge skylights and modern flatscreens displaying your flight’s status.
Three years and $80 million later, the terminal and concourses at Port Columbus are looking brighter and more beautiful than ever.
In addition to the visual makeover, behind-the-scenes changes have also been made, including the implementation of new restrooms, new mechanical systems, and a faster Wi-Fi system.
Locally-based restaurants have been added as well, including Donatos Pizza, Bob Evans Express and Eddie George’s Grille 27.
Though a new terminal is planned to be built by 2030, the new renovations should keep Columbus travelers more than satisfied until then.
