Brothers Jailed After Rescue Attempt Turns Violent

According to Fox28, a 4-year-old girl was hit and caught beneath a car Friday night, where she was repeatedly run over as a the drivers tried to control the vehicle.

The girl’s two uncles,  Jeremy and Sharon Polk attempted to save her by stepping into the vehicle to stop the men driving it. Police said that one of those men, Charles Adablah is now in a medically-induced coma.

The two brothers allegedly beat Adablah, according to Fox28, and are now being held on felony assault charges with two separate bonds totalling at $70,000.

Family members of the girl said to FOx28 that she has been released from the hospital and is recovering from multiple injuries.
