Details Released on OSU Assailant

According to initial reports coming out from various media outlets some sparse details have been released on the OSU assailant.

Law enforcement officials have reported that he was an 18-year-old Ohio State student, a Somali refugee and legal permanent resident of the United States.

Motive is currently unknown, but the police have confirmed that this attack was on purpose and with deliberation.

Despite being initially reported as an active shooter situation, the suspect did not have a gun and did not shoot anyone.
