Dog damn it: Wheeler Park set to close again

Wheeler Memorial Park will close again, on Jan. 19, due to dogs turning it into a muddy mess. The Columbus Department of Recreation and Parks want to allow the grass to recover, said spokeswoman Brandi Braun.

The plan is to reopen the park in May. It was closed last February for the same reason.
