The ex-seminarian who was formerly studying at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus pleaded guilty in San Diego to a federal charge of attempted enticement of a minor.

The seminary issued a statement saying they were “shocked and saddened” to learn of the allegations.

Wright’s depraved fantasies were detailed in explicit emails he sent to a Tijuana tour guide, and eventually to an undercover federal agent.
