Fall from sorority house 3rd story leaves student in critical condition
A Columbus woman is facing life-threatening injuries after falling from the third story of an Ohio State sorority house early Thursday morning.
Columbus police say Kalynn E. Smith was taken from the Alpha Phi sorority house to the Wexner Medical Center in critical condition after the fall, which appears to have been accidental.
In a phone call to emergency services, the caller said Smith consumed alcohol earlier that evening.
Authorities say she is expected to survive the injuries.
