Local Columbus Photography Legend Dies

Kojo Kamau, a local photography professional much loved by the Columbus community and revered by arts and culture organizations passed away at 77 today.

His daughter, Kenya Johnson announced his death this Tuesday morning on Facebook:

No details about his death have been released, but many are expressing their heartfelt condolences on his Facebook page and through social media.

Kamau was a renowned photographer known for his color and black and white photography that detailed the lives of those in his community, as well as communities on the national and global level.
