Even though former Mayor Michael B. Coleman has already left innumerable marks on the city of Columbus, one more tangible reminder of his service to the city couldn’t hurt.
As such, a new eight-story, 198,000 square-foot downtown building will be dubbed the Michael B. Coleman Governmental Center, scheduled for completion in December 2017.
The building will be used for office space for city workers in the public service, development and utilities departments.
