As Memorial Day approaches, a fitting display of patriotism by an Ohio boy has gone viral on social media.
Cole Dotson rushed into action when he saw an American flag outside his high school falling to the ground. He took it in his hands and held it until someone from the school was able to hoist it back up.
Dotson’s mother, Rhonda Ordway Pester, posted a picture of him holding the flag on Facebook, which has since been shared over 40,000 times.
Pester wrote on Facebook, “Proud of you Cole Dotson! There is hope for America! ooh rah!”
