All across Ohio people are expressing disbelief at the pump, balking at prices that have gone as low as $1.39 a gallon in some areas.
The average gas price for the state sits at about $1.50, whereas it was $1.90 a month ago. The national average gas price is $1.74.
Compare these figures to a year ago when gas was $2.25.
The low numbers come from a seasonal decline in demand for gas, but also as a result of the massive oil worldwide oil glut.
The crude oil price currently sits at $30.89, whereas it was about $50 last year, and $100 in 2014.
