Police Find Lewis Center Murder-Suicide

Investigators believe to have found an apparent murder-suicide in Lewis Center, Ohio.

According to  the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, there was a call around 4:00pm on Sunday from concerned family regarding silence from loved ones. They hadn’t heard from them.

Deputies looked into the missing couple’s Aurora Avenue address where after an hour of searching found the body of 33-year-old Rachel E. Reutzel in the family’s vehicle on an Alum Creek access road. The body of the other missing individual, 41-year-old Todd Reutzel, was found about 75 yards away. Both dead from gunshot wounds.

Deputies believe that this was a murder-suicide, with Todd Reutzel shot Rachel Reutzel and shortly after shot himself. The investigation is currently ongoing.
