Thief Steals and Returns Valuable Anaconda to Grove City Store
Hmmm…trying to parse through the logic on this one. A thief lifted a young anaconda from a Grove City store on Tuesday and today, it was “anonymously” returned.
The three-foot long snake can sell of for thousands of dollars once it is fully grown, and the Ohio state law has owners registering their snakes once they hit the preposterously large size of twelve feet.
So what happened? No one knows — the story which was first reported on by media yesterday evening gained social media traction, but it wasn’t national news. There was also a bit of time, nearly 24 hours between the theft and the return so it has us wondering what happened in the interim?
Anyway, the snake is back and the owner, while confused, is pretty happy the snake wasn’t hurt.
Tell us what you think happened in the 24 hours the snake was missing.
