Woman Accidentally Shoots Dog During Attempted Robbery
A Columbus woman is currently facing charges in relation to a bizarre set of circumstances that led to the death of her dog and robbery charges being levied against her.
Simone Kendrick went through an East Livingston Avenue drive-thru with her dog and five-year-old.
She tried to buy something but couldn’t complete the purchase which in turn led to an argument that escalated to a point where she drew a gun on the drive-thru clerks.
After an altercation where she pointed her gun at one of the clerks, she was attacked by the other clerk — she fired off multiple shots according to the Police. Her dog was hit in the shooting, leading to the dog’s death.
No word on what she tried to buy at the drive-thru.
According to the arresting officers, they determined the gun had been reported stolen. Kendrick will be charged with aggravated robbery but more charges could follow.
