New OSU Bag Rules Are Weird and Strict But We’ve Found a Solution

Ever since an OSU June 8th rule change, you can no longer bring your over-sized purses filled with cheesy-doodles and salami sandwiches to Buckeye games. OSU has done away with bags through their new Ohio Stadium Bag policy.

101317-OHSU_L02Any Bags larger than 5x8x1-inches (about the size of a ladies’ wallet) haven’t been permitted in Ohio Stadium since the Buckeye Country Superfest that was held on June 18. I’m sure you’re thinking what we were thinking, then yeah – it’s dumb and wildly arbitrary. Especially considering OSU is the only Big Ten school not allowing see-through totes and other see-through large bags.

According to their press release, this no-bag policy has been implemented at select stadiums in the Big Ten Conference, and the chief of the OSU Police Division said the policy is meant to provide a safer environment for their fans.

No worries though because Little Earth Productions provides stadium-approved ‘trendy,’ clear plastic, branded bags. ‘Trendy’ is a bit of stretch but hey, a solution is a solution.

The Clear Waist Pack/Crossbody (pictured) has a chain strap and is easily adjustable, convertible from a waist pack to a crossbody for multiple looks.  The Ribbon Organizer Wallet features a ribbon zipper pull in team accent color.

If you’ve got these stadium approved clear bags, OSU’s press release says guests can have an expedited entry time. Pair this with a choker necklace and jean jacket and you’ve got yourself a real throwback outfit. #90scomingback

“Fans are very passionate about college sports, and these new bags allow them to get through game-day security quickly…” said Rob Brandegee, CEO of Little Earth.

These items and Little Earth’s entire line of NCAA products can be purchased online at www.littlearth.com and at www.amazon.com.
