OSU Makes a Killing in Beer Sales During First Year

614now Staff

Surprising no one, OSU made the right decision selling beer at their games and have reportedly netted a cool $1.1 million during the 2016 home season, which averages about $137,000 for their games.

The season closing game with University of Michigan netted a bit more on average (again, no surprise that game was crazy) with $157,142.

For a bit of comparison — University of Texas at Austin made $1.1 million in just two games (they’re selling more than just beer), but regardless we’ve got some drinking to do considering the money is being used to help with security costs.

So have you had the beer at the Horseshow? Let us know what your drinking experience was in the comments below.
