250 Cargo Pilots go on Strike — Shipping Delays Likely

On Tuesday, 250 Ohio pilots for ABX Air have gone on strike. ABX Air handles flights for Amazon and DHL and your packages will likely have a delay in shipping.

The parent company, Air Transport Services Group Inc., is allegedly going to seek a court order to get ops back and running while they deal with the union demands.

The pilots allege they’ve been working with skeleton crews, forced to work on off days and denied the compensation that was promised in their contract.

If you’ve ordered things for Black Friday or looking to make timely purchases, be wary of shipping and how that could be delayed.
