4 – 3 vote decides Columbus Board of Education leadership
4 – 3. Not exactly an overwhelming vote of confidence. But it’s good enough to reelect Gary Baker as president of the Columbus Board of Education.
Board member Mary Jo Hudson finished on the short end of the tally. Hudson was a member of former Mayor Mike Coleman’s commission responsible for putting together a 2013 levy that was soundly rejected by voters.
Baker’s election as president had been unanimous in 2014 and 2015.
