Virtual reality was super weird and fun. I was throwing ham at piles of bricks. It was real enough that I nearly dropped the controllers on some virtual reality barrels but…they didn’t exist in real life so I would have just dropped them on the ground. Good stuff.

Drinking Chad Kessler’s booze is an experience, it’s familiar and new and deliciously unique. Very fun day.

This was a highlight — getting to chat with Morgan Spurlock was surreal. I’ve seen his documentaries and having him talk to me about his fast food chicken restaurant  was something I never imagined was a possibility.

The boys at Smokehouse Brewing & Commonhouse Ales are special. Very passionate, very knowledgeable and very fun. I had a great time learning about beer and talking about the brewing scene in Columbus.

This was very special — Gateway Film Theater has been a big part of my Columbus experience since I moved here 8 years ago and to be able to hang out with the guy that has shepherded so many great films into Columbus was great. Also the CULT 101 announcement is legit amazing.

My most recent venture out with the Facebook Love — I got to hang out with Michelle Allen of new candy boutique, Mmelo. I loved their confections, I loved their attitude and I hope everyone makes their way to Vine to experience how special it feels.

 

Thanks to Good Day Columbus for hosting us! Last one was the weirdest of the bunch — this was barely my first month on the job here at (614) and I was…thrust into this opportunity. I’d never been on TV before so this was wild.
