Utterly insane.

CPD and Fire spent their Monday morning searching and rescuing a man who fell from a cliff near the Scioto River in northwest Columbus.

He’d called 911 early this morning, letting dispatch know he was lost on the river banks near Riverside Drive and Cranston.

They found him around 8 a.m. in a difficult to rescue spot, but the CPD & Fire crews were able to pull through and make the save.

He was injured but the extent is unknown at this time. This explains the huge closure on Riverside Drive this morning as well.
