Bold plans for 15th and High redevelopment
Real estate developer Campus Partners released new details about their plan to revamp the intersection of 15th Ave. and High Street, which will include several new four or five-story buildings and a public square tailored for pedestrians.
A long corridor adjacent to the Wexner Center will run from the Oval to the intersection, which currently houses Bernie’s Bagels & Deli, Too’s Under High and Johnny Go’s House of Music.
The former campus staples will be demolished to make way for retail and restaurants on the street level, a 150-room hotel and a 500-space parking garage surrounding the public square.
Though about $30 million in infrastructure improvements are slated to begin in a few months, the total cost of the redevelopment is not known.
