Columbus leads nation in annoying people by phone

Statistics from YouMail Inc., a voicemail provider, have shown Columbus to be the leading city in sending out robocalls. According to the stats, Columbus sent out 68.9 million calls in December. These robocalls are generated from bill collectors, politicians, telemarketers and things of this nature.

Second place goes to Kansas City which sent out 42.1 million robocalls. Though dishing out such a huge number of annoying calls, Columbus does not seem to be able to take its own medicine. It only received enough robocalls to place it 26th, whereas Atlanta seems to be getting dumped on — leading the receiving end with 59.8 million calls.

Better to be the most annoying that the most annoyed, right?
