Columbus Police Department Start 10-day Body Camera Test

Today marks the start of a ten day body camera test that the CPD will undergo in an effort to review and offer feedback on six different body cameras.

Different patrol assignments with 30 volunteer officers around the city will be wearing one of the six cameras to compare and contrast the difference.

Although it is only a 10-day test, the CPD could be selecting a vendor for a late 2016 initial launch of the selected body cameras.
