Cosi Closed its Last 3 Columbus Restaurants

Boston Based, Cosi Inc. has officially closed its last Columbus restaurants, leaving the sandwich and coffee business entirely up to Panera, according to Biz Journals.

The chain has apparently filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, and these three restaurants are among 29 others to close, according to Biz Journal. The only remaining restaurant is in Ada, Ohio, at Ohio Northern University.

It’s sad to say goodbye to something that’s been there for long time, but with Columbus’s growing plethora of local eats, there isn’t much to miss. Except maybe those Squagels, those were pretty neato.

No news yet on who will be replacing those sad old Cosi locations.
