Express yourself: Facebook adds alternatives to ‘like’

After years of user pleas for alternatives to Facebook’s “like” button, the social media platform added a few new ways to engage with posts.

Starting today, users can hover their mouse over the like button (or hold down “like” on mobile) to use the new emotes, which include “love,” “wow,” “sad” and “angry.”

For me personally, I’m expecting to get plenty of “sads” and “hahas” on posts about my daily life, but I’m sure all you beautiful readers will be receiving “loves” left and right.
