Franklin County Power Failure After Wicked Storm; Second Weekend in a Row

After last week’s storm that saw over 5000 Franklin County residents without power, another storm hit Central Ohio last night.

Last night’s storm affected more than 4,200 people in the Franklin County, according to AEP’s outage map: as of right now AEP has dropped that number down to approx. 196

Ben Gelber of NBC4 posted this video on his Facebook and had this to say, “Check out this amazing time-lapse of a thunderstorm from our NBC4 SkyCam, with swirling rain shafts (probable wet microburst) moving over downtown and southeast Columbus around 6:30 p.m.!
