Retail regrets: Macy’s announces store closures
We previously told you about Macy’s plans to close 40 stores in the early part of 2016. At the time, the retailer did not reveal which stores would close their doors. But with four Central Ohio locations (Easton Town Center, Polaris Fashion Place, Tuttle Crossing, Eastland Mall), local Macy’s employees were surely watching for the release of that news. The list is now out.
Two Ohio stores are on the list of locations to be closed (Akron and Elyria), but the Columbus-area stores have apparently been spared a spot on the chopping block.
