It looks like Uber has a serious competitor in Columbus.
Ride-sharing service Lyft has returned to the Columbus market following a one-year absence.
Plus, they’ve signed an exclusive deal with Port Columbus and Rickenbacker International airports that gives them a designated pick-up and drop-off area.
The San Fransisco-based company said they left Columbus last year due to city regulations, but Ohio Governor John Kasich signed a new law regulating “transportation network companies” that took effect Wednesday, allowing Lyft to come back.
Previous users of the app can use their old accounts, according to a spokesperson for Lyft.
