Road Closures for Pelotonia – August 5th
For those leaving work, be aware that Pelotonia starts tonight – here is a quick list of closures as you make your way home.
The following street closures will be in effect for the event from Friday night, August 5 at 11 p.m. through Saturday morning, August 6 at 11 a.m.:
- West Spring Street from Hocking Street to West Street
- West Long Street from Hocking Street to Marconi Boulevard
- West Street from Marconi Boulevard to Nationwide Boulevard
- Neil Avenue and John McConnell Boulevard from W Spring Street to New Public Lane
- East Rich Street from South High Street to South 3rd Street
City officials are warning drivers to keep an eye out for Pelotonia bikers on the these streets: South High Street, Dering Avenue, Corr Road, Lockbourne Road, Williams Road, Groveport Road, Bixby Road, Ebright Road, Winchester Pike, Shannon Road, Gender Road, Wright Road, Bowen Road, Diley Road, Hill Road, and Route 256.
The rides start Saturday the Columbus Commons. As well as in the Arena District. They move to various spots outside Franklin County. Pelotonia traffic crosses roads in central Ohio including – those bikers be bikin’.
