Temperatures, gas prices rise together

The arrival of summer means more road trips, and with more road trips come higher gas prices.
Ohio’s average gas price was $2.60 on Monday according to the Oil Price Information Service–up 34 cents from a month ago.
It’s also 24 cents higher than the national average, which sits at $2.36.
Fortunately the price of gas is lower than it was this time last year, but don’t expect to see anything like the ultra-low prices we had at the beginning of the year this summer.
