Two New Lanes on US 33 — This Sunday

Dublin gets more traffic lanes! If you live in the Dublin area, you’re about to get four new lanes on US 33 instead of the usual two, according to 10tv. Making your commute a bit more bearable, especially considering the sheer amount of wrecks that occur on that stretch of road.

These travel lanes will open up Sunday morning and are located on westbound US 33 traffic between Emerald Parkway and Avery-Muirfield Dr.

And just in time for the holidays — next month there will be a new ramp open from westbound 33 to I-270 south ending. Yeah, it’s a lot of construction, but where aren’t there orange cones decorated our highway system? It’s part of being in Ohio. The construction is expected to be finished by 2017 as well, so we won’t have to put up with it for too long.

Let’s hope this makes traffic less dumpy and not more life-threatening and horrifying as usual.
