Update 01/20/16: Thankfully, Ohio is not expected to see the full force of Friday’s major winter storm. Predictions are that the amount of snow central Ohio will see will be light. The storm is reportedly moving south, so much so the National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for Washington D.C. for Friday and Saturday.

“There’s going to be a big storm. Somebody’s going to get walloped,” said meteorology professor Victor Gensini. “It does look like it’s going to be a doozy.”
Meteorologists are talking about some major cities seeing massive amounts of snow: 18 inches, two feet or more. Cross your fingers that the storm flies by.
