4 ways to brighten someone else’s holiday

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the materialistic hustle of the holidays but slow down with us for a moment to reflect on what this season is really about; giving. Between stuffing stockings and frosting cookies, remember there are people in your neighborhood who may not even have a warm bed to go home to at night. Consider lending a hand to those in need this season by participating in any of these charitable programs:

Salvation Army Christmas

Thanksgiving and Christmas allow us to operate our 29 services throughout the year. As the holidays can bring much joy and volunteer spirit, they can also bring
added financial and emotional stress for families in need.

Volunteers of America Holiday Caring Gifts

As many of us enjoy presents, food and fun, there are countless veterans, men, women and children who can’t put food on the table, keep warm through winter, or even find a safe place to sleep. You can help bring joy to the veterans, adults and children we serve through our holiday Caring Gifts campaign.
