Christmas came early for Buckeye fans at Nationwide Children’s

Sure, the Cotton Bowl is important to the Buckeyes but they have other priorities this holiday season—like brightening the lives of patients at Nationwide Children’s.

Coach Urban Meyer and his wife Shelley donated loads of gifts to the hospital but he knew he’d need a little help with the delivery. So, Urban along with nine of his players visited Nationwide yesterday to present the toys. The team’s presence, though, was the greatest gift to a lot of those youngsters.

The Dispatch reports the whole team wanted to partake in the visit but there wasn’t enough room. According to Eleven Warriors, quarterback Dwayne Haskins, running backs J.K. Dobbins and Demario McCall, defensive ends Nick Bosa and Chase Young, defensive tackle Robert Landers, linebackers Tuf Borland and Malik Harrison and cornerback Jeffrey Okudah all turned out to hang with the kids.
